About the Giving Cupboard
Mission
The mission of the Giving Cupboard is to establish programs in Jefferson County, such as a choice food pantry, to alleviate hunger and hardship, increase self-sufficiency, and instill hope for a better future.
Hours
The Giving Cupboard distributes food every Tuesday from 3:30 to 6:30 PM, and on the third Saturday of each month from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. We are located at 153 N 3900 E, just outside of Rigby city limits.
Mobile
We also distribute food through our mobile pantry program in the communities of Mud Lake (2nd Tuesday) and Lewisville (4th Tuesday) from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. Please see our mobile page for more details.

Our Clients
Our clients include families trying to make ends meet, the working poor, people experiencing a temporary job loss, senior citizens, disabled individuals, veterans, and others in need. We hope that with access to fresh and nutritious food, our clients will be able to focus on improving their lives and strengthening their families.

Our Organization
The Giving Cupboard is a recognized Agency Partner of the Idaho Food Bank. As a private, nonprofit, 501(c)(3) organization, we are dependent entirely on grants and donations from community members, local businesses, corporations, foundations and other strategic partners. We are fortunate to have a generous community that provides resources, support and encouragement.

Our Leadership
Everyone involved with the Giving Cupboard is a volunteer, and we are always looking for more help. The Giving Cupboard is guided by a committed board of directors whose members are devoted to ensuring we continue to meet our county’s need for hunger relief. The board and steering committee members come from a variety of backgrounds in business, civic and nonprofit leadership. The board is led by president Naomi Schilling.
